I'm using the Jensen WBT210 in conjuction with a Motorola DC800 Bluetooth transmitter (Bluetooth Stereo Gateway DC800 Bluetooth Adapter for Home Stereo) to listen to TV and DVD wirelessly via headphones. Battery life is OK - 4 to 5 hours of continuous use. Pairing is very easy and sound quality is quite good. With some bluetooth headphones, there is a noticeable delay in the audio, but not with the Jensen receiver. The main issue I have is the Jensen receiver does not remember that it is paired with the Motorola transmitter, so it has to be re-paired every time I use it. Not a big problem, just an annoyance.
I bought this so I could listen to my Nokia 6555 on my car stereo AUX input via bluetooth. I already have a BT receiver I can use. It paired fine with the TomTom, but I could not get through an entire song before it would disconnect from the TomTom. At most I could play 3-4 minutes before my phone would reboot. Would NOT buy at the listed retail. So, it got stuck in the glove compartment.Fast forward 12 months. It paired ok, but this little jewel would cause my phone to crash and reboot whenever I started playing music. It was not to be.
Just purchased a TomTom GO730 which supports BT audio out for both the directions and music/audiobooks. Sweet. I would have to power it off and back on again to get it to reconnect, only to have it disconnect again.Definintely was not reado for prime time. I paid $15 for mine and in my opinion that was still too much.
I've tried with 2 different phones (Palm 800/Palm Pre0 both with the Bluetooth stereo profile. Lots of static/poor sound quality.
i was surprised at how light-weight, small and cheap it was. at first i could only get sound in the left channel. even after i got the plastic cut away the female 3.5 jack cuts out if the unit is moved in the slightest. after taking it apart i was able to file and cut away plastic that was preventing the 3.5 stereo audio connector from going all the way in. after much trouble i was able to file and cut away plastic on both male and female sides to make a connection. not good for mobile use.my bluetooth app unders windows xp on my asus eee pc 1000h indicated there was not much of a signal past 6 feet and it kept cutting out. so it's not good for home use either.i think i paid near $50 but could not recommend it at any price.
Jensen WBT210 Bluetooth Portable Universal Stereo Receiver with Intergrated MicrophoneIf you like a good music quality- this device is not for you.Jensen WBT210 Bluetooth stereo receiver delivers mediocre sound quality with frequent stumbling (momentary interruptions) of the music transmission, which is very annoying for demanding music lovers. Frequency response is also on the low end of stereo Bluetooth receivers.Felix.
